Mad Crazy Jesus Party!!!

Today has been a day like no other. I can't really explain what is going on because my mind can't form it into words. All I know is that it is a MAD CRAZY JESUS PARTY. Attacks from the enemy are trying to test the Martyr Session here at the War College, but that unlucky son of a gun called Satan (Personally I like to call him the DESTROYED-because that is what he is) is up the wrong lake of fire without a paddle.  By the love and encouragement of the promises that we have from God we have found only one thing to do -- press in harder and rejoice. God is doing some amazing things here, and that ticks the enemy off because his time is running extrememly short. When the destroyed tries to attack we are able to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the power of our testimonies (Rev. 12:11) the next verse after this is particularlly sweet to my lips like honey.... it says that we have a reason to be happy through all of this because it says this: "Rejoice ye heavens and all who dwell in them." I don't know about you but as for the Martyrs and our house we will serve the Lord, and be made one with Christ. This makes us seated in the heavenlies!!!(Look it up for yourself in Eph. 2:6) Therefore we are rejoicing and having a MAD CRAZY JESUS PARTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

A nice quote that my dad used to say (with my own twist of course), "If you like my blogs tell your friends, and if you don't like them tell me." Or you could just drop a note to say hi or something crazy like that. This is made possible through the great invintion called the e-mail.... eyes_like_the_skies@yahoo.com

lots of love, linsey

WORSHIP...

What is worship? Before you go any further, take a moment and write out what you think it is....

If your answer is merely music on Sunday mornings then you, my friend, have fallen into the trap that everyone so easily does. This trap is called a box. It is so easy to try and put God into the box and live our lives as if we aren't. But the reality is that we are. We are trying squeeze this wonderful creative God into a music box and then get upset when he doesn't fit. "Think outside the box" is such an old cliche, but the only reason it gets repeated is because we keep going back to our boxes. Worship is not just every now and then, but all the time. Worship is when you are giving all you have to serve something. We don't need to ask "when" we worship or "if" we worship but rather "WHO" or "WHAT" are we worshiping.

Do you place God first in EVERYTHING you do? Let worship to the one and only God who deserves it begin today. I challenge you to find new ways to worship God throughout the week. Or throughout the rest of your life. Seek the presence of God and dwell in it and live your day to day life at the same time. This would be a start, and from there God can show you more ways to worship him. All you have to do is ask him.

Here are some verses that might help you get started on worshiping:

Psalm 95:6-7(bowed down)

Psalm 100:1-5 (singing)

Zechariah 14:16 (while eating and celebrating)

Matthew 4:9 (Jesus' holy example)

John 4:23-24 (in spirit and in truth)

Romans 12 (offering of yourself and walking in love)

Hebrews 3&4 (as long as it is called Today)

Revelation 4 (Day and night they never stoped saying: Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty...)

There are so many more verses that hit on the subject of worship. After reading these and a few that God has revealed to you, look at your definition that you wrote down. Does it meet God's standards? If so, your challenge is to walk in it more and more. If not, your challenge is to seek what it is that you could be doing and walk in it more and more.

I would like to pray for you during your worship journey, and I would really love for you to pray for me in mine. If you have found some scriptures to add to this list, please feel free to e-mail them to me.

Thanks and God Bless,

Linsey (eyes_like_the_skies@yahoo.com)

We are here in Edmonton!!! 17 hours on a bus. It was good times, and the times are only going to get better! Watchmen for the Nations hasn't officially started yet, but in about an hour my whole look on life as I know it will be changed. Some might think I'm being silly, but I think that God has the ability to do great and wonderful things in the blink of an eye. So I am going into this with an open heart and mind (remembering to test the spirits of course) and will leave here a new person. Talk to ya later.... eyes_like_the_skies@yahoo

Hey to all!

I know it's been a while since I have written on this thing, but it doesn't mean that I haven't had a lot to say. We had a morning of silence and solitude the other day, and it went well. Now I can say that because its over, but when I was in the middle of actually having to sit in silence all alone I thought it was pure torture. I can handle sitting in silence while there is many people around, and I can be alone and have some sort of noise, but to have silence and solitude in the same setting.... it was not easy for me. At first I couldn't hear God speaking to me and I felt like I was just sitting in a room doing nothing. So I got up and started to make my bed, and I heard the still small voice telling me to sit down and really listen. I sat down and tried to listen again, but still I heard nothing. I thought that God had jokes and I wasn't laughing. I finally realized that I had built some sort of brick wall between my ears and God's voice. I sat and searched until I realized where the first brick was laid. Then I asked God to take a sledge hammer and tear it down. Then I heard Him ask me, "Are you sure this is what you want? It means clean up afterwards. Are you ready for that?" I cried and replied yes, and then the wall came down. God and I sat and talked about each brick and what they represented in my life, and what I could do to not let it be put back. When the wall was gone, God started talking to me about wisdom. He lead me to Proverbs 1:1-7 and the conversation went from there. Do you have any comments on wisdom. Maybe you could ask God about it, and send me some notes on what it is He had to say to you.
